Assitant Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and execute internal audit assignments across diverse industries, aligned with client expectations and regulatory standards.

Conduct risk-based audits, process reviews, and internal control evaluations to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with applicable frameworks, with a focus on Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and SOX requirements.

Prepare and present audit reports with clear findings, root cause analysis, risk implications, and actionable recommendations.

Coordinate with client stakeholders to understand business processes, gather relevant data, and validate audit observations.

Support clients in the design and implementation of internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks.

Assist in developing audit programs, checklists, and working papers in line with best practices and consulting standards.

Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and provide advisory support as needed.

Stay abreast of evolving regulatory, accounting, and risk management standards to provide value-added insights to clients.

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, independence, and confidentiality in all engagements.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of risk-based internal auditing and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, IFC, SOX).

Knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS) and statutory compliance requirements.

Experience in preparing and reviewing audit documentation, working papers, and reports.

Proficiency in using audit tools, data analytics, and MS Excel for detailed analysis.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and workflow/process documentation tools.

Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and corporate governance standards.
