Head of Accounting

The Head of Accounting, much like a seasoned manager, leads and supervises the entire accounting function—ensuring that financial records are accurate, regulatory requirements are met, and reports are timely—while also guiding the team to align financial processes with the company’s broader strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting and controllership for multiple external clients
• Lead outsourcing projects, including bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure timely finalization of accounts and coordination with auditors
• Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory filings for client entities
• Drive month-end/year-end closures and prepare MIS/financial reports.
• Maintain strong internal controls and process improvements
• Liaise with client stakeholders for operational and strategic finance matters
  

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in accounting outsourcing or client servicing roles
• Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, taxation, and compliance
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and MS Excel
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder-handling skills
